Reminder: IRB Staff Assistance for Study Transfers Ends August 1, 2026
As part of the transition from iRIS to OneAegis, the BYU Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) has been providing administrative assistance to investigators who need to transfer active studies into OneAegis.
Requests for IRB staff assistance with study transfers must be submitted and completed by August 1, 2026. After this date, investigators will be responsible for transferring eligible studies into OneAegis using the available guidance and resources.
If your study remains active and will require future IRB submissions (e.g., modifications, continuing review, reportable events, or study closure), we encourage you to begin the transfer process as soon as possible to avoid delays.
Questions about study transfers may be directed to the HRPP office at OAHelp@byu.edu.
After August 1, the IRB will provide instructions for you and your research personnel to transfer your own studies.
All IRB submissions are now processed in OneAegis. Please contact OAHelp@byu.edu for any technical issues.
