Our mission is to ensure that research conducted within the university, as well as studies reviewed by the Brigham Young University IRB, adhere to federal regulations, state laws, and institutional policies governing human research.
The IRB's compliance and education program is dedicated to providing accessible educational resources and guidance materials to all research staff. We aim to equip researchers and their teams with the necessary study support tools and resources to conduct research in full compliance with regulations. Moreover, our goal is to assess human research projects thoroughly to guarantee the protection of participants' rights and welfare.
