IRB Metrics

Overview

The metrics reflect historical submission and review activity for the Institutional Review Board (IRB). These data can help investigators anticipate periods of higher submission volume, which may result in longer review times. Historically, submission activity increases during the spring and fall semesters, particularly in March, April, and September. Investigators are encouraged to plan ahead and submit studies well in advance of desired approval dates, especially during peak review periods, to allow sufficient time for review, revisions, and final approval.
