BYU Transition Checklist
As part of the upcoming transition from iRIS to OneAegis, all investigators at Brigham Young University must take specific steps to ensure uninterrupted research operations and compliance with university and IRB requirements. All new IRB applications must now be submitted exclusively through OneAegis. At this time, iRIS is not available.
To support this transition, the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) has developed a checklist to guide you through the essential tasks that must be completed.
BYU Transition Checklist: iRIS to OneAegis
1. Work with IRB Staff to Transition Studies to OneAegis
- If you have a study that is currently active, the IRB may have already contacted you with the next steps in the transition process. If there is an active study that needs attention, try searching for it in OneAegis. If you cannot find it, contact us for next steps.
2. Do not delete any of the following study associated documents from your computer until you confirm they are available in OneAegis
- IRB-approved protocols and recruitment documents
- Consent forms
- Correspondence and approval letters
