BYU Transition Checklist
As part of the upcoming transition from iRIS to OneAegis, all investigators at Brigham Young University must take specific steps to ensure uninterrupted research operations and compliance with university and IRB requirements. All new IRB applications must now be submitted exclusively through OneAegis. The final day to secure IRB approval for submissions still in iRIS is October 24, 2025.
To support this transition, the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) has developed a comprehensive checklist to guide you through the essential tasks that must be completed before iRIS is retired.
