Workshop 102

Workshop 102 is a hands-on, 1.5-hour session available virtually or in-person. The aim is to help new researchers navigate the IRB process at BYU. This workshop requires some work to be done before attendance.

IRB staff will work with attendees to complete an application and to provide insights of the review process. An on-going Q&A will provide answers to research-specific studies.

Before the workshop, attendees are expected to:

  • meet with their faculty mentor to plan the details of the research
  • visit the IRB website
  • download the IRB application
  • complete as much of the application as possible
  • complete CITI certification
  • come with questions
